Description
Handifiller
Intro
Icon Equipment International supplies the Handifiller, a compact, hand-operated rotary filling and capping machine built entirely in stainless steel and free-standing for easy placement on the production floor. It connects to any suitable gravity supply tank and is equipped with externally removable filling valves and an air-operated cap tightening device.
A hand-operated rotary cap sorter, cap chute, and applicator are also available, giving smaller producers a complete manual filling and capping station without the cost or footprint of a fully automatic line.
How It Works
The Handifiller table holds four bottles at a time — two positioned under the standard Icon filling valves, and two in the capping area at the front of the table, where caps are received from the cap sorter and applicator. A pneumatic cap tightener then tightens caps to a pre-set torque.
The operator unloads filled bottles and loads empty containers for the next fill cycle. The two filled bottles lower from the fill valves, the table rotates to position two empty bottles under the valves, and these are raised pneumatically to begin filling again — a continuous cycle of load, fill, cap, tighten, and unload.
Filler Speed
Approximately 6–10 bottles per minute on 2 litre bottles filling juice, depending on product and bottle size.
