Icon Equipment International has been selected by Kerry Asia Pacific to supply a turnkey bottle filling line for their new Malaysian plant situated in Plentong. Icon supplied a turnkey bottle filling line to Kerry’s Altona plant in 2008 for a similar range of products and bottle types filing both glass and PET bottles.
The Plentong line consists of a bottle depal, gripper rinser, Icon mono-bloc filler fitted with an Arol pick & place capper, bottle washer dryer, induction sealer, date coder, elevating gripper conveyor, cooling tunnel, neck sleeve shrink applicator, adhesive labeller, manual pack station, two carton print and apply units and a checkweigher. The equipment will be installed and commissioned by Icon staff early in 2012.
