About Us

1975

In 1975, Fogg began operations in Australia, by importing reconditioned rotary glass fillers from Fogg USA to supply the Australian juice and dairy industries. By the early 1980’s Fogg Australia were becoming a prominent figure in the filling machine market when they decided to pivot their business to reconditioning used machines locally. By the late 80’s, demand was so high, they began designing and manufacturing new machines in Australia, for the local market.

Success

On the back of this success, by the mid 90’s, Fogg Australia were not only supplying reconditioned and new equipment all around Australia, but demand also reached other international markets, such as NZ and SE Asia.

David Perryman

By this time David Perryman had become a prominent figure within the filling machine market, both in Australia and overseas and had worked in Fogg’s operations in Australia for a number of years.

March 2004

In March 2004, David and business partner Peter Dwyer (who also worked for Fogg for many years) purchased Fogg Australia, with a desire to rapidly grow the business both locally and overseas. They set about opening sales and support offices in Melbourne, Bangkok, Shanghai and Riyadh. ICON Equipment International was born.

Filling Machinery

Over the next eight years, ICON supplied filling machinery all over Australia and by 2012, became the Australian / NZ agents for SERAC, one of the world’s most renowned manufacturers of filling equipment in the dairy industry. In the late 2000’s ICON made the decision to focus its attention on selling the ever-expanding range of SERAC equipment to the Australian market only, together with some additional agencies they acquired.

Mid 2000s

By the mid 2000’s Icon were a prominent name in Australia for the design, supply and installation of very large SERAC equipment and as a result were heavily involved in many large scale project for some of the industry’s biggest names, including multiple projects for Murray Goulburn, Lion and Tetra.

2026

We are proud to say, that in 2026, we are still leading the way in the design, supply and installation of many large-scale projects in Australia, recently being recognised as SERAC’s top-performing partner in the Asia-Pacific region over the past 12 months. This achievement reflects the highest sales volume across spare parts, service, and technical solutions, driven by our fast response times, consistent support, and exceptional service standards. Our professionalism and commitment to customer care excellence continues to play a vital role in supporting market growth and long-term reliability.

Today, ICON manufactures and supplies the flowable liquid industry with equipment based on innovation, solid engineering and responsive customer service.

Complete packaging lines can be provided to suit both low and high-speed requirements for a range of industries including the dairy, food & beverage, chemical, personal care and pharmaceutical industries.

ICON has a unique approach in our commitment to a project beyond installation. We plan to be a partner, working with our customers to develop their production and packaging lines and in some cases, comprehensively managing the operation of the line including production and planned maintenance management.
